Wayne, NJ - White on White on White?
White walls with with tiles and white fixtures? This is the only room you could misplace a cotton ball. The soak in tub was the only thing to stay in this master bath and everything else was gone. 12" wall tile, 20" floor tile and a custom made shower floor with shattered extra floor and wall tile that was broken down to mosaic pieces and hand laid one by one. Extra wood trim was ordered with the cabinets to custom make 3 matching mirror frames. New vanity light fixtures and a new chandelier (not pictured). The shower stall was made a few inches wider and loaded with Kohler Wall Tile Body Sprayers. A frameless shower enclosure and a few shower nooks to keep everything inside streamline makes this this perfect place to wash away the day's stress.
Wayne, NJ - More White on White with More White
Everyting was replaced in this bathroom. A new deeper tub with 12" floor tiles, 12" wide glass tile in the shower, a maple cabinet, granite counter top with matching granite shelves in the shower. Throw on a new color on the walls and you'll forget how white this room was.

This homeowner of this bathroom is over 6' tall and the old bathroom was definitely not made for him. The original mirror was set as high as it could go and all he could see when he was shaving was his chin. Also, the shower head would hit him in the face and not the top of his head unless he ducked down. The new vanity base was set just slightly higher and the toilet had a higher base. The new mirror is now triple the size of the original one and framed in with the same chair rail tile. The shower head was mounted just slightly higher than standard so that he could now enjoy a shower without having to bend at the knees to wash his hair.

This powder room had all the original fixtures and floor tile. We ripped it all out and started new. Solid wood vanity, a granite countertop, new floor and wall tiles and all new fixtues brings this bathroom up to date.

This dated bathroom with a large linen closet was turned into a large master bath with Jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. The closet was removed giving us plenty of space for a walk in shower with a seat. The frameless glass was installed to the ceiling to hold in all the steam and heat. The same slab of marble was used for the counter tops, floor saddle, the seat in the shower, the curb into the shower and the shelves in the shower. Tall linen cabinets took place of the lost space from the closet and on top of them we installed a night light that comes on in the dark to light up the room.

This standard size bathroom from the early 50's definitely needed some updating. The window in the shower was always a problem between the blinds on the window in the shower to leaks into the downstairs and not to mention a drafty shower in the winter. We removed the window and installed the widest new window we could fit up as high as we could. No more blinds, leaks or drafts. All new fixtures and tiles no longer makes this bathroom an eye sore.
